"Prepping the Floor" Redefined

Isn't it interesting how the meaning of a phrase can change over time? Back in the mid-80's, "prepping the floor" was you or one of your buddies swaggering through the music library in penny loafers, white pants and Izod shirt (collar up) listening to Air Supply on a Sony Walkman. In 2006, "prepping the floor" means knee pads, steel-toed boots and lots of hard work.
The flooring crew is doing a great job!
